NZ Low Carb is a 100% New Zealand owned low carb weight loss coaching and low carb specialized products firm. NZ Low Carb is founded by Wetex Kang, a New Zealand Registered Pharmacist specialising in low carbohydrate eating for health and weight loss.

Wetex Kang earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy with honours in 1994 at a tender age of 21, he also published his honours research thesis on Pharmacokinetics in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology in 1995, 2 months after his graduation.

In 1995, Wetex purchased a run down pharmacy at St Lukes (formerly know as St Lukes Accident and Medical Pharmacy), he renamed it Total Quality Pharmacy. He started assisting various individuals with their nutritional needs. In 1998, in order to concentrate in the field of nutrition, Wetex decided to sell his pharmacist and founded NZ Low Carb at Newton .

Today, NZ Low Carb is situated at Unit K, Pt Chevalier Arcade, Pt Chevalier, Auckland .
